Breathwork for Compassion

Breathwork for Compassion

Compassion is one of the healing qualities of our inner most Self. When offered to tender or wounded parts of ourselves, compassion is a catalyst in healing those wounds. As we engage in a breathwork practice, we are able to step out of our ordinary worries, thought patterns and rumination and breathe a greater sense of compassion into being.

Breathwork is a powerful, active meditation technique that allows us to take a break from the thinking mind, connect with our inner worlds and shift outdated belief patterns or move stuck energy in our systems.

During this session, our facilitator, Jessy LaHood, will offer guided meditation, mindfulness prompts and invitations toward inquiry about your internal world to support participants in cultivating a greater sense of compassion

Archetypal Breathwork: The Creator

Connect with your inner relationship to the act of creation in a virtual breathwork group focused on connecting with the archetype of The Creator. Archetypes offer us characters or figures that we connect with and understand on a communal subconscious level. And we each have a relationship to various archetypes, whether we find ourselves resonating with the features of an archetype, striving for them or completely turned off by them - our relationship tells us about our beliefs about ourselves and the world.

Breathwork is a powerful, active meditation technique that allows us to take a break from the thinking mind, connect with our inner worlds and shift outdated belief patterns or move stuck energy in our systems.

During this session, our facilitator, Jessy LaHood, will offer guided meditation, mindfulness prompts and invitations toward inquiry about your internal world to support participants in exploring their relationship with The Creator. This is an especially powerful session for folks who are looking to move past creative blocks, struggle with overworking, are seeking to connect with a sense of purpose in their work or are just curious about breathwork practice!

Parent Support Group at Everyone Yoga

Parenthood is magical and intense and can also be very isolating. This group developed from the question, why do parenting groups often stop after the 4th trimester? There are so many phases of childhood and parenthood and we need community and support every step of the way. This group hopes to provide the space and time to come together with other parents to get and receive that support. No matter where we are in your parenting journey, we have something to offer and something to learn from one another.

The Parent Support Group meets at Everyone Yoga in Ridgewood, Queens and virtually from wherever you are. Brought to you in collaboration with Everyone Yoga, Get Right Wellness and WBees Forest School.
